Rankmath plugin causing Content Creation Services page not to load

The RankMath plugin will not let me edit my Content Creation Services page. It gives me the following error https://share.getcloudapp.com/ApuXRqNp. I recently had this problem and it was because of duplicate url slugs. I have checked that and did not see any duplicate url slugs this time however could have missed it somehow. Can you please look into this issue for me? The access to the backend of the website is in the sensitive data section.

  • I have reset the temporary login user and sent you a new login link in the sensitive data section. You should have access now.

    Hello,

Thank you for sharing the temporary admin login URL. I was able to access your admin dashboard.

I went ahead and enabled the troubleshooting mode and even with the Rank Math plugin disabled, the issue seems to be happening still as you can see in my video screencast in the Sensitive Data.

The issue may be specific to that page as the other pages are loading just fine.

Kindly check this one with the Elementor support instead since the issue persists even with Rank Math plugin disabled on troubleshooting mode.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

That is not accurate. The RankMath plugin is causing the problem. You can see in the screenshot video I added in the sensitive data area that the RankMath plugin is in fact causing the issue.

    Hello,

I was now able to replicate the issue, it seems I need to deactivate the Rank Math plugin to test it as the troubleshooting mode doesn’t apply the changes on the editor.

For us to debug the issue deeply, can you also share your FTP login, we need to check for recent error logs that might help us determine what’s causing the issue.

Looking forward to helping you on this one.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

I have provided the FTP login info in the sensitive data area

    Hello,

After further troubleshooting, I noticed a deprecation warning which points at Elementor.

Can you please try contacting your hosting provider and request to upgrade your PHP version to 7.4 or greater?

See if this resolves the issue.

Looking forward to helping you on this one.

My hosting provider upgraded my PHP version to 7.4 however the issues still exists

    Hello,

We would like to deeply investigate the issue and possibly, we will check this one with our development team.

Is it possible for you to create a staging website for us to deeply debug the issue without worrying about breaking your live site? If so, please create one, replicate the issue there and share the admin login here so we can further determine what’s causing this issue.

Looking forward to helping you on this one. Thank you.

Your support has full access to the site so you can create a staging page yourself

    Hello,

I went ahead and set up a staging site to further test the issue. However, I may need your admin login credentials as the login URL doesn’t work with the staging plugin I used.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

PS: I checked this one with our developer and we can confirm that the Rank Math plugin shouldn’t generate the warning mentioning the function _register_controls so the warning most likely doesn’t come from our plugin. There must be some other plugin that conflicts with both Elementor and Rank Math (activated) so we need to proceed with the debugging on a staging site.

    Thank you.

I log in through my hosting account. I am sorry, but you are not getting my login info for my hosting account. I am not sure how it could be another plugin when the RankMath plugin is deactivated everything works just fine. As well as this issue is only occurring on one page. If the problem you believe exists is in fact the problem then shouldn’t all the pages be affected? Also, if you have access to the backend of my website why would you need login info? You don’t need to login into anything once you are in the backend

    Hello,

I apologize for the inconvenience. As mentioned in my previous reply, the error message when the issue occurs mentions about _register_controls which is unknown to us since our plugin doesn’t use it.

We would like to further debug this but we aren’t able to continue due to the following hindrances:

    1. The troubleshooting mode on your website isn’t working as intended. Troubleshooting mode will help us deactivate and activate plugins/theme on your website without affecting the live users. Please refer to this guide.

    2. Since the troubleshooting method isn’t working, I need to create a staging website but I can’t login to the created staging website because it requires an admin username and password. The temporary login URL doesn’t work here: https://i.rankmath.com/iDBFQX

However, if you can’t provide your admin login (which we fully understand), you can create the staging site from your end instead and share the staging login here.

If that doesn’t work for you, we need to deactivate/activate the plugins live on your website to debug the issue which may affect some of the settings and your users.

Let us know which option you prefer.

    Looking forward to helping you.

It will not let me create another staging site. It says that it is being blocked by another command. I will have to reach out to my hosting provider to fix the issue. If you do not need the debug mode activated on my site can you please change it back to normal status…Thank You!

    Hello,

The troubleshooting mode is already been deactivated, as for the current staging website (which I can’t currently access) installed on your dashboard, I need to remove it since you mentioned that you are going to ask your hosting provider to create your own staging from your end. The current temporary login URL has expired.

With that said, please do let us know how this goes with your hosting provider with regard to creating the staging site. We are here to help.

    Thank you.
