Page Title and Meta Description Not Updating

    We have made changes to the Page Title and Meta Description but upon checking it looks like it’s not updating. At first we used Yoast SEO, no result. Then now we are using Rankmath and still no result. All pages are affected.

    Hi Miguel, thank you very much. Will check this out. Is this hidden plugin WP Yoast SEO Extensions different from the actual Yoast SEO plugin? Right now, we actually have Yoast SEO and Rankmath plugins activated on the live website.

    You should only have one SEO plugin installed and activated on your site. When you have multiple SEO plugins active on your website, it can lead to conflicts and potentially harm your website’s performance and SEO.

    Hi I have added 3 links on the sensitive data section. These links looks okay when checking heymeta, rankmath snippets, and page source but when checking screaming frog and ahrefs tool bar it is different. Which tool should be the most accurate when checking if its all fixed?

    Hello,

    Your page source code is the most accurate. The other tools you mentioned are merely crawlers, which could be inaccurate sometimes. If your page source is showing correctly, then you shouldn’t worry.

    I see. Do you guys think this is fixed now? Or anything else we need to do to make the page title and meta description appear as accurate as possible?

    Hello,

    It appears the page SEO title on your site is not coming from Rank Math rather it is from either a plugin or your theme. You should follow this troubleshooting guide to discover the culprit: https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
