    Hi …
After changes were made to rank math, “err_too_too_many_redirects” errors started for non-English product categories in the url.
When rank math is off then everything is fine.
I tried to talk to the server company but I was told by them that they did not have the problem.
The debug redirection did not help me. I cleaned cash. Site name settings are correct.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

I’ve checked your site, but I’m unable to find any categories that are showing the redirect error. Please provide the affected category URL to check.

Also, could you provide the changes you have made? Specifically, you can provide these options you have in Rank Math > General settings > WooCommerce so we can advise accordingly.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

I made changes recently and added bread crumbs.
In addition, turn off and on again the remove base option and the strip category base option – now off.
I did not touch 2 options that you mentioned. But I will note that “remove category base” was on before the problem started.

    Hello,

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

Thank you for getting back to us.

First would like to point out that there must be a plugin or platform really caching your website that does prevent any changes made on the site from taking effect. Thus, my first recommendation is that you check out the caching with either the LiteSpeed cache plugin, any CDN like Cloudflare or check if your host is caching your site files.

I have tried changing several settings on the site, but there was no effect.

On the redirection issue, this must be related to the WooCommece Product link setting son changing/removing the base.

It could also be related to the encoded characters of your language as there is some sort of redirect that occurs through that encoding and decoding within your browser.

We are looking forward to helping you.
    Thank you.

    Hi.
    Thanks for the help!
I tried to turn off the cash but it did not help. No cdn exists.
Is there anything else I can do? Because I do not know how to change the encoding 🙁 or is it already necessary to contact professional technical support?

    Hello,

Thank you for getting back to us.

Would you please contact your host. I have just checked your URL turning off the Debugging redirection is not effective. Upon inspecting your page I have noticed that there is a 304 status code. Please see this screenshot: https://i.rankmath.com/x0qJXb

Usually, when a server or browser isn’t properly configured, communication between the two can get interrupted and result in an HTTP 304 not modified status code. For example, using an outdated IP address might cause an HTTP 304 status code.

I would recommend that you contact your host provider regarding this and request them to clear or remove your site from being cached or check your server settings.

We are looking forward to helping you.
    Thank you.

    Hi ..
I talked with them. They did what they could, even a programmer on their behalf was unable to fix the problem. They noted that there is no problem with caching, but with rank math.
Can you check the situation again now?
If you fail to fix it then unfortunately I will delete RM 😖

    small question.
Due to the problem, the “product-category” base and “product” base is back to the url. This is after three months.
Is there significant damage from such a change?
    Tnx

I want to note that those pages no longer indicate err to many redirects but a 404 error.

    Hello,

Thank you for getting back to us.

Your cache on your site is now cleared. There must be something done from your server-side. However, I have now checked the URL in the sensitive data section and it is now giving a 404-page error. This means that it has not yet been redirected. Could you please let us know to which page you wish to have it redirected?

Regarding the product and category base, I was not able to replicate them on your URLs. This is because you have the settings to remove them turned on from the Rank Math > General Settings > WooCommerce section.

Removing them would only cause a redirection to add these bases on your links. However, they do not have any significant effect but would not recommend that you keep changing them.

    Hope this is more clear.

We are looking forward to helping you more. Thanks

    Ok.
I changed “remove category base” again. I saved. And the problem passed.
Only now I have a new url. Hope it’s okay?

Is it dangerous for internal links that exist? Or something else?
    Tnx

    Hi.
    24 hours have passed.
On the site the categories appear well, with the new url – “product category”.
But in a Google search the references of the categories point to 404.
