Split: Text Link Didn’t Work

    I face a related issue after the latest update of Rank Math. In my case links do work, but each time I click on a link or a text block containing a link in the editor, an over-dimensioned link-symbol pops up (Screenshot). This is very annoying because it is almost impossible to change the link or to delete it. My website and also the websites of my customers are built with GeneratePress Pro theme. Up to now both went together very well, so I wonder what to do. I definitely do not want to change my theme (it is one of / or the best theme on the market right now) and I would also like to keep Rank Math. Do you have any idea or suggestion or can I expect that the issue will be fixed with the next update of Rank Math?

    We can’t seem to replicate your issue as well and we would like to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    Please excuse my late reply. Meanwhile other webdesigners using different themes obviously faced the same issue. So I think it is not caused by any of my settings and installations (there were no changes anyway besides your update). As far as I could see in the forum (e. g. https://support.rankmath.com/ticket/problem-with-the-editor/) you have already found the problematic code. So I am looking forward for the next patch and hope, it will solve the problem and I can happily go on using Rank Math.

    We just released a quick Beta update just for this specific issue, you can try to see if that helps.

    Please enable the Beta update by following this:

    If you are unable to see an update, please clear Rank Math’s transients from: WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools > Remove Rank Math Transients > Remove transients

    Please clear the caches, server, and WordPress after updating.

    You can disable the Beta updates once you update to the latest version and if the issue is fixed.
