Hi there,
What I just did is:
1. I completely removed all the plugin and data as you guided.
2. I reinstall and run the wizard setup from begining.
3. The sitemap not found issue still there.
Can you please help to seriously debug this issue?
Thanks
Hello,
I think your plugin has one issue.
https://abc.com/th/sitemap_index.xml => “File Not Found”
https://abc.com/en/sitemap_index.xml => “File Not Found”
https://abc.com/sitemap_index.xml => Accessible but blank page. => I tried to viewsource:https://abc.com/sitemap_index.xml and I figured out that if I delete this part from the header of the xml file “<?xml-stylesheet type=”text/xsl” href=”//abc.com/th/main-sitemap.xsl”?>”, all the sitemap files will be seen normally.
In another way of saying, abc.com/th/main-sitemap.xsl => this url was died. That’s why the page is blank and the sitemap cannot be accessible.
(Please replace abc.com to my domain to see it)
Please debug it seriously.
Thanks
Hello,
Anyone please support this.
Thank you.
Hello Jack,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math.
I just want to inform you that your request was received and our lead developers will get back to you very shortly on this issue.
Thank you for your patience.
Hi Melisa, it has been a week 🙁 no any response from your team. Please support me.
Hi Jack,
Sorry for the late response.
I have logged in to your site and I’ve ran some diagnostics, for example installed the Rewrite Rule Inspector plugin (from the official WordPress.org plugin repository) to check if the issue is related to the rewrite rules added by Rank Math. I have removed the plugin from your site now.
I can tell that the “File not found.” error message is not coming from Rank Math. In fact, I don’t even think it comes from WordPress itself or any one of the active plugins — it seems that when we request the URI /th/sitemap_index.xml
on your site, WordPress doesn’t even get involved, your server returns the error message immediately, without initiating PHP/WordPress. Therefore, I would advise to contact your hosting provider about this issue, they should be able to assist you.
Hope that helps.
Similar problem here.
No caché plugin conflict (all disabled)
The Plugin only generates Post sitemap, does not generate Page sitemap (all the setting are right)
And all the pages are “noindex” even if I uncheck “No index” one by one
Today I realized that my home page is no longer indexed in google. Big problem.

Hello Aaran,
Please confirm that the checkbox next to “Discourage search engines from indexing this site” in Settings > Reading is not checked. If it’s not, and your pages get the noindex
robots meta tag even though you haven’t set that anywhere in the plugin, then please open a new ticket here on our support forum, and we will look into the issue.
Thank you. Lookng forward to helping you.

Hello support team,
Thanks for the information so far. Please I have a related question to this. I 2 problems on my website presently.
1. Sitemap invalid in the google web console. However, I’m going through your advice.
2. How can I set up a redirection from www to the non-www version of my WordPress site? The problem is my website doesn’t support .htaccess. My host is not providing support on this issue for me. I have gone through a series of articles but the incident persists. Is there any way forward?
Hello Roy,
Could you please check the following:
1. Is the sitemap working fine in your browser? You can check that by going domain(.)com/sitemap_index.xml
If the sitemap is working fine, you can try validating it on this link: https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/validate-xml-sitemap.html
If the validation works, please move to the second point.
2. Have you verified the correct version of your website on Google? Please check if you have verified the www (or non-www) and https (or http) version of your website. If there is a mismatch, please fix that.
3. Finally, make sure you have cleared the cache and excluded Google bot from seeing a cached version of your sitemap.
If you have followed these and you are able to view your sitemap without any problem, then Rank Math is outputting your sitemap correctly and the error must be coming from Google. You can try and use a 3rd party sitemap plugin to confirm. Just make sure you have disabled the Sitemap module of Rank Math in WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard
when using a 3rd party sitemap plugin.
If the other plugin works, please do let us know.
We cannot help with the www redirect because that is not something that can be done via Rank Math. It has to be done via .htaccess or Nginx config files.
