  • HI Federico,

    Thanks for the follow up.

I am afraid that your root directly is still not writable, an operation such as renaming your robots.txt file returns an error and trying to change the permissions through CHMOD reports this error: 550 SITE CHMOD command failed.

I can suggest that you reach out to your host so that they can make this location writable for plugins such as Rank Math that creates sitemaps dynamically.

    I hope this info helps.

Working now it was a problem of apache configuration. Thanks for the support and the patience 🙂

    Hi Federico,

    Thanks for the follow up.

The .htaccess file that controls directory permissions is not available on your site’s root folder which suggests that you host has direct control over this problem.

You will need to get in touch with your host so that they can help to sort out the directory perms to make it possible for plugins to write to the root folder.

    I hope this info helps.
