Save edit Snippets

  • On my pages it is possible to edit the snippet, but not to save it. The old variant is displayed again and again. what’s wrong? I am using elementor pro with rank math seo pro.

  • I found a bug in the meantime, but it didn’t help. I had an account with you with the email i***@m******** which was linked to my website. However, the Pro version was activated via another account with the email address s******@m********. I changed that now and linked my website to the correct account s******@m********. Updating the Pro version also worked now. I then repeated all the steps on the subject of the .htaccess file, unfortunately the snippets on the pages mentioned cannot be changed or saved.

    After further troubleshooting, I noticed that Jetpack is causing the page to not save the meta. However, I can’t seem to find any new script when the issue is occurring so we can’t trace where the specific root cause of the issue is when Jetpack is enabled.

    Can you please check this one with Jetpack support as they might be able to tell how this issue is happening? There might be a configuration in their settings that’s preventing the SEO meta to save.

    it actually works when Jetpack is not enabled. I’ve tried contacting support, but it’s difficult. I have therefore now edited the meta data with the Yetpack plugin deactivated. It’s counterproductive, but at least that’s how it works.

    I went ahead and tried replicating this on my local WordPress installation and I wasn’t able to reproduce the issue even with Jetpack enabled.

    There must be some configuration between plugins on your end that causes the conflict. There are no error messages so we can’t determine what causes it.

    Let us know how it goes with the support from Jetpack.
