    1). This error suggests that there is a static robots.txt file on the root of your site folder. Please login to your site via FTP and rename the robots.txt file to fix this.

    2). It is likely that the email address that you are using to verify the search console is not listed as a property owner on your search console. Please check if this is the case and approve the user as a property owner.

    Please make sure that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (http or https, www or non-www).

    Then, please make sure that the Google account you used to connect your Google Search Console profile is the same one you have used to verify your domain on GSC.

    If it still doesn’t work, we have found that using a different Google account to verify your domain and connect your website usually works. Or, you can try using the Google Site Kit if it still won’t work and disable the Search Console inside Rank Math by going to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard

    For the robots.txt file, if you are not sure how to delete the robots.txt file that is already present – you can share your FTP details with us and we will be happy to do it for you.

    I can recommend that you reach out to your host so that they can help in resetting the credentials so that we can be able to help.
