Page description and metadescription issue

    Hi,

    I hope you’re doing well.

I recently received a response from WordPress support regarding my concern about WordPress logos appearing in the SEO report. They mentioned that while these logos are part of my theme and may not directly impact my website’s SEO performance, they understand my concern.
However, altering my theme’s code might be necessary to prevent them from appearing in the report, which could be a complex task.

Despite editing the meta description and excerpt, I’m still encountering the same error. No common keywords found in the page description.
You need to use titles and descriptions that are attractive to users and contain your keywords. Use the keywords naturally – keyword stuffing is usually detected and will result in a lower ranking. What’s more, it’s pretty off-putting for potential readers, who are more likely to click on an appealing link.

Could you please provide any suggestions or assistance to resolve this matter?

Thank you for your attention to this issue.

    Best regards,
    Ambra Mills

Does it refer to the blog’s title?

    Hello,

You’re welcome! I’m glad to hear that you found the assistance helpful.

Regarding the report you received, yes, it does refer to the blog’s title and meta description. The message indicates that there are no common keywords found in the page description, which includes both the title and meta description.

To address this issue, you’ll want to ensure that your blog’s title and meta description contain relevant keywords that accurately reflect the content of your page. However, it’s important to use keywords naturally and avoid keyword stuffing, as this can negatively impact your ranking and may deter potential readers.

    Hi,

I have changed the titles and page description. I run the report again but it still gives me the same issue.

Would you be able to look into it and help me to solve it?

    Thank you 😊

    Hello,

Please share your focus keyword and the concerned page with us so we can check.

Note that our plugin looks for an exact match of the focus keyword in your SEO title and description so it will not consider any other variation.

For example, if the focus keyword is laundromat in Alberta, then our plugin will look for this exact set of characters in your content including the title. So if you have laundromat in Calgary-Alberta, then this will not be considered as the focus keyword in your content including the title.

Please note that the Content Analysis test is totally for your reference and you can safely ignore it in certain use cases.

Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your help.

Is there any way I can improve my 73 score?
I am struggling to improve it.

    Thank you

    Hello,

In this tutorial, we show you how to use Rank Math’s content analysis to optimize your posts, score a 100 over 100 in the tests, and set up your articles to receive the most traffic from search engines: https://rankmath.com/kb/score-100-in-tests/

We however recommend focusing on creating high-quality content and naturally incorporating relevant keywords. Avoid overstuffing your content with keywords and aim for informative and engaging posts to attract readers and search engines.

Keyword optimization should be a secondary consideration; you can use as many focus keywords as you need, but the number of focus keywords you should use per post should depend on the length and complexity of your content.

Moreover, remember to avoid keyword stuffing or over-optimization, as this can hurt your SEO. We have a dedicated guide with more information about focus keywords here:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/what-is-a-focus-keyword/

Lastly, scoring higher points in Rank Math’s tests won’t guarantee higher rankings.

Please note that these tests are only there for your reference to help you in optimizing your pages/post content. If you feel any of them don’t apply to your page, please feel free to ignore them.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to extend my gratitude for your assistance so far.

Currently, the main challenge I’m facing is the relevance of the keyword. I’m wondering if it might not be as effective in driving traffic as initially anticipated.

Your insights on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your ongoing support.

    Hello,

The focus keyword are simply to help Rank Math conduct tests that will improve your content and on-page SEO – which would in turn improve your SEO and drive traffic to your site.

So, when you add a focus keyword to a post, Rank Math will run several test and let you know which of the tests you passed and which you failed. The more test you pass, the higher your score and the better your on-page SEO.

We hope this helps clarify the issue. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
