Page description and metadescription issue

    Hi,

    I hope you’re doing well.

I recently received a response from WordPress support regarding my concern about WordPress logos appearing in the SEO report. They mentioned that while these logos are part of my theme and may not directly impact my website’s SEO performance, they understand my concern.
However, altering my theme’s code might be necessary to prevent them from appearing in the report, which could be a complex task.

Despite editing the meta description and excerpt, I’m still encountering the same error. No common keywords found in the page description.
You need to use titles and descriptions that are attractive to users and contain your keywords. Use the keywords naturally – keyword stuffing is usually detected and will result in a lower ranking. What’s more, it’s pretty off-putting for potential readers, who are more likely to click on an appealing link.

Could you please provide any suggestions or assistance to resolve this matter?

Thank you for your attention to this issue.

    Best regards,
    Ambra Mills

  • Hello,

I apologize for the issue you are facing with the meta description and excerpt not reflecting the changes you made. It seems like you are encountering the “No Keywords Found in the Page Title” error in Rank Math’s SEO analysis.

To address this error, you can follow these steps:

    1. Add Keywords in Your Page Title & Description: Ensure that you have added relevant keywords naturally in your page’s title and description. You can do this by navigating to Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Homepage. Here you can edit the Title and Description for your homepage.

Homepage Title settings in Rank Math

If your homepage is set to a static page, you can edit the SEO Title and Description directly from the Rank Math Metabox of that page. You can access the Edit page of your homepage and use the Snippet Editor to set the title and description.

Homepage set to static notice in Rank Math

By adding relevant keywords in your title and description, you can address the issue of no common keywords found.

If after following these steps you still encounter the issue, please let us know, and we will be happy to assist further.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

    Best regards,
    Rank Math Support Team

Sorry I don’t have the plugin installed because I need to upgrade my current plan. Is there any way I can solve this issue?

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Could you please confirm if you’re facing the issues in the SEO Analyzer test? If so, please head over to your WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools > and click the Clear SEO Analysis and Remove Transients buttons to flush the SEO Analysis cache.

    Flush

Once done, clear your website and any server-level caching on your site before doing the SEO analysis again.

If the issue persists, please share your website URL with us so that we can check this further for you.

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

Hi, apologies but don’t have the plugin installed.

Is there any way I can solve the issue?

    Thank you

    Hello,

In this case, could you please confirm if you’re testing your website with our external SEO Analyzer tool? You can also share a screenshot with us by using a tool like https://imgur.com/upload so that we can check the issue further for you.

However, please note that the test Keywords in Title & Description looks for the common keywords in the SEO title and description, not the focus keyword.

The Common Keywords are picked from your content itself. You can use Rank Math’s keywords research tool to check which keywords are ranking plus matching the contents of your page, and you can then incorporate those keywords in your page.

Hi, there’s no error. I just wanted to know how I can fix the issue with the page description. That’s why I shared my link and the screenshot with the error reported by the SEO report.

    Hello,

We haven’t received the screenshot link. The error reported to the meta description is with the length of the meta description. There are two meta description tags on the page. One is coming from Jetpack, and the other is coming from your theme or some other plugin. The second one is causing the issue as it is longer than the recommended length. You should check with your theme’s support to investigate this further.

Please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Hi,
I emailed wordpress and they asked me: Would you mind letting me know which specific page Rankmath mentioned on your site that’s causing this error? Each page and post has its own meta description, so if you can identify the problematic page, we’ll be able to pinpoint the issue and provide you with the best possible assistance to resolve it.

I will try to send the screenshot again
