My website has 15 pages that google is saying are marked as noindex. I have never set any of these pages as noindex and have never had this error before. i’ve always used Rankmath and I’ve never had a problem and I can’t see any way to change the settings in rankmath to affect this

    can someone please help

    thanks

I switched it to yoast because the rank math sitemap was saying it was invalid so i was checking if yoast would work (it also did not).

i changed it back to rank math and submitted them individually and it seems to have fixed the html error, but all my pages still say they are marked noindex

can this be caused by caching? i’ve paid two supposed experts to fix this and no one has been able to help

    Hello,

We sorry to here the issue still persists.

Sometimes the error may be coming from Google.

Would you mind trying to verify your site with a fresh Google account? Ensure to verify the correct version of your site; that is https/http and www/non-WWW.

Once done verifying, try resubmitting your sitemap in the new GSC account see if the issue still persists.

Please let us know. Thank you.

I authorized another google account to manage this property. Exactly the same issues.

Ensure to verify the correct version of your site; that is https/http and www/non-WWW.

What does this mean? how do I know if I need to put www into search console?

    Hello,

In your case, your site doesn’t seem to have the WWW part and it is secured: https. In this case, you need to verify https://yourURL.com.

What I meant was a completely fresh verification of your site with Google.

If you search your site URL such as site:https://yourURL.com you will see a number of the pages you have listed here are actually already indexed within and show up as updated within the last few days.

This issue is very much likely on Google’s end and the reason I was requesting you to verify your site afresh with Google.

    Hope this helps.

Ok, thanks. Maybe that will help. How do I do a fresh verification with google? It just seems to load all the stuff I’ve already done

    Hello,

You can verify your domain in Google by following the steps on this link:
    https://support.google.com/a/answer/60216?hl=en&ref_topic=29598#

You can also get in touch with your web host on how to verify the correct version of your domain name (with or without www).

I hope that helps. Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need further assistance.

Thanks. I already did this. When I did it the second time it just showed all the same things it did on the first account.

    Hello,

We checked your website and it looks like most of the pages are indexed already:
    https://i.rankmath.com/SQhqVj
    https://i.rankmath.com/4aVM04
    https://i.rankmath.com/udiC6S

The following should not be indexable since they are meant to be used by your theme to create a layout and on their own should not be indexable:

    https://factorgeo.com/footer/default-footer/
    https://factorgeo.com/header/default-header-transparent/
    https://factorgeo.com/header/default-header-sticky/
    https://factorgeo.com/header/default-header/

My Account page should also not be indexable because it shows content only to logged in users and should be hidden from bots.

If there are any pages that are not indexed – please share the links so we can check further for you.

    Hello,

There is no noindex on those either:

They will stop showing up in the noindex list on Google Search Console once Google re-crawls those pages.

Please give it time as there is no issue with the robots meta tags and there is nothing preventing your pages from getting indexed.

    Hello,
