    Dears,
Since I moved from Yoast to Rank Math on https://geekomedia.net, it seems any search in google does not bring any page of my website anymore….
I can type the website directly or any search like I used to before….nothing…
I was well positioned for example on webdesign Cambodia….disappeared now…
In Search console, it looks like 67url valid and 296 excluded.
    I copy my robots.txt too…

Please help, I don’t know what to do
    Thx

    Hello,

Thanks for contacting us and we regret the inconvenience caused!

I tested your website using heymeta.com and Google’s Rich Results Testing Tool and it seems there is a redirection on your website which might be causing the issues. Please see the screenshots available in the Sensitive Data section of this ticket.

Could you confirm whether you have set this redirection?

If not then, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hi,
I have not set a redirection that I remember…but I see in the browser indeed…
Could you have a look for me?
I have attached login details in the sensitive data.
    Thank you,
    Pierre

    Hello,

Thank you for that additional information, and sorry for the delay.

I’ve checked your site, and it seems that your sitemaps are already updated and have the same count number from your pages. However, you have a static robots.txt file that is present in your website’s root directory. Please see the screenshot in the designated sensitive data section.

In this case, you can delete that static file and use Rank Math’s recommended and default robots.txt file which should look like this:

    User-Agent:*
    Disalloaw:/wp-admin/
    Allow:/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

    Sitemap: https://yourdomainname.com/sitemap_index.xml

Once your robots.txt is already set, please remove all the sitemaps you have submitted in your Google Search Console account then resubmit your main sitemap only /sitemap_index.xml and give Google some time to recrawl your website.

I hope that helps. Thank you, and looking forward to your update.

    Hi,
    Thx for your help.
So now I got this in search console, added only your sitemap and deleted others
    https://nimb.ws/Sz59C2
And this on my site structure….
Changed robots.txt content and I got only 1 robots.txt file
    https://nimb.ws/xBLVXb

I will wait for a couple of days now…

    What about the redirection?

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply!

I will wait for a couple of days now…

Sure, please let us know how it goes!

    What about the redirection?

I tested your website again with the tools that I mentioned above in this ticket and it seems that the issue persists. I also checked your website for a potential plugin-theme conflict but it doesn’t seem to have one. The redirection is still there when Rank Math is disabled.

I suggest you communicate with your Hosting Provider regarding the issue as they should be able to help you.

Please let us know how it goes.

    Thanks!

    Hey there,
Well, after many searches, I still don’t know what is going on…
Cloudflare and WP Rocket don’t see an issue
    The host don’t see a redirection…
The only redirection that maybe is between www and non www….I don’t know….

    But for sure….
    – Now sitemap looks like this in search console….https://nimb.ws/KuhZ7k
    – When I check index, I see this….https://nimb.ws/nRgC0Z
    – However, I go to google….I type to search for Geekomedia….and 0 URL found, like you can see https://nimb.ws/KBXCd7

    I am desperate….

    Another example…
    site:https://geekomedia.net/contact = no result in Google…
I copy my .htaccess and robots.txt as this is maybe the source of the issue…

    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>

    RewriteCond %{HTTP:X-Forwarded-Proto} !https
    RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
    RewriteRule ^ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]
    </IfModule>
    # END HTTPS
    # BEGIN WordPress
    # Les directives (lignes) entre « BEGIN WordPress » et « END WordPress » sont générées
    # dynamiquement, et doivent être modifiées uniquement via les filtres WordPress.
    # Toute modification des directives situées entre ces marqueurs sera surchargée.
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteRule .* – [E=HTTP_AUTHORIZATION:%{HTTP:Authorization}]
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ – [L]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
    </IfModule>

    User-Agent:*
    Disallow:/wp-admin/
    Allow:/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

    Sitemap: https://geekomedia.net/sitemap_index.xml

    Hello,

Thank you for the update, and sorry for the delay.

I’ve checked your sitemap, and it’s showing an empty page but with Rank Math source code. In this case, please check if you have a static file with the same name as your sitemap file (sitemap_index.xml). You should FTP into your server and remove the file.

I’ve already excluded your sitemap from being cached by WP Rocket as well. Your robots.txt is still showing the previous data. Please delete the robots.txt file in your root directory as Rank Math will automatically create a virtual robots.txt file for your website.

I hope that helps. Thank you, and looking forward to your update.

    Hello,
    I have deleted the robots.txt file…
I have been searching for a file sitemap_index.xml by FTP but no result…

    A question also…
Why I have so many url indexed in google that look like this:
    You are being redirected…https://www.geekomedia.net › divi_…
    Traduire cette page
Javascript is required. Please enable javascript before you are allowed to see this page.

    Still searching….

    Hello,

    Thank you for the update.

I’ve tried checking your site for a plugin conflict, and it seems that one of your plugins is causing sitemap issues with your website. However, the robots.txt is still not changing as it is still present in your root directory.

Please update all your plugins to the latest version and follow the instructions here to find the conflicting plugin:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

The redirect issue is still showing even all your plugins are deactivated. I recommend checking again with your web host about this as they are in a better position to help.

I hope that helps. Thank you, and looking forward to your update.

    Hi Reinelle,
    So, some news…
I got a full check manually by Sucuri. They did not found anything wrong…
I have deleted wordfence and wpcerber and now installed Sucuri plugin.
    Regarding the plugin conflict…
How can I find the issue is solved by reactivating the plugin 1 by 1 if I don’t know how to find the issue??? I am lost in that process…

I am contacting the host again…
May I ask you, how can you proof the you are being redirected is there and visible…because I don’t see in my browser…

    I just contacted the hosting…
    Nothing wrong on their side…
I just also deactivated cloudflare and reset the DNS to Siteground…
I will wait 24h to check if there is a change…

I don’t see how to find the conflicted plugin, I am sorry.

    Hello,

Thank you for the follow-up, and sorry for the delay.

For checking the plugin conflict, you need to enable the troubleshooting mode on your website using the health check plugin. Then enable Rank Math and a default theme only during troubleshooting mode, then you will see your sitemap will load just fine. You can enable your other plugins one by one and refresh/reload the sitemap until it will show a white/empty page again.

I’ve checked your robots.txt, and it seems that it is already showing fine. Let us know how this goes with your changes as well.

For the redirection, I’ve pasted a screencast in the designated sensitive data section. It seems that it is happening when you view your website using a new browser or incognito mode.

If the issue still persists, please also add your website’s FTP login credentials in the designated sensitive data section to further investigate this issue.

I hope that helps. Thank you, and looking forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.
