Hello,
I’m sorry to hear that you are facing the red light issue when trying to connect to the Google Search Console in our plugin.
The red signal indicates a glitch in the corresponding connection between Rank Math and your Google account. This issue could be due to a possible glitch in the Google Analytics connection. To resolve this, you can follow these steps:
- Head over to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Analytics.
- Click on the Test Connections option at the top right of the Analytics settings.
- Rank Math will start validating the existing connections. A green signal indicates a valid connection, while a red signal indicates an issue with the connection.
- If you see a red signal, you can reconnect with your Google account by following the steps shown in this screenshot:
If the issue persists even after reconnecting your Google account or if you see a red signal again during validation, we recommend opening a support ticket here and sharing the error log with us.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Let me know if you need further assistance.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
We can see you’re trying to connect your Google Account via a domain property (sc-domain:yourdomain.com) with our plugin.
Please note that our plugin is only compatible with the URL prefix properties and it doesn’t fully support fetching data from domain properties. Also, the IndexStatus feature doesn’t work with it.
You can follow the steps we shared above to create URL prefix properties: https://support.rankmath.com/ticket/connect-connect-through-google-connect/?view=all#post-745021
Regarding the Analytics, can you please confirm if you have an active Google Analytics account? You can follow this guideline to create a Google Analytics account for your websites: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/9304153?hl=en
In case, you have a Google Analytics account but on another email address, then you can follow this URL to transfer the property to the same email address: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/44500?hl=en
Once done, please try to reconnect your Google account again from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and see if that works for you.
Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
