Hello,
I apologize for the issue you are facing with connecting through Google Connect. To resolve this, please follow these steps:
- Navigate to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Analytics on your website.
- Click on the Reconnect link to disconnect and reconnect your Google Account with Rank Math.
- Once you’ve reconnected and configured the Analytics settings, Rank Math will start fetching the data.
- If you notice any delays in retrieving Analytics data, click the Test Connections option at the top right of the Analytics settings.
- If the data fetch doesn’t happen, choose Update data Manually.
- This process may take some time, usually below 20 minutes to populate the data in the Analytics Dashboard.
If you encounter any further issues or need additional assistance, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.
Thank you for reaching out to us, and we appreciate your patience while we resolve this issue for you.
Best regards.

MarkHello,
Apologies for the inconvenience.
For Search Console, please verify using the URL prefix and ensure that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (HTTP or HTTPS, www or non-www).
You can follow our guide here to create the URL Prefix property:
https://rankmath.com/kb/google-site-verification/#num-1-1-open-google-search-consoleThe URL-prefix property also helps keep your sitemap in sync with Google Search Console as we submit it automatically for you. In addition, the domain property won’t work correctly on some sections of the Analytics module such as the IndexStatus.
Hope that helps.
Thanks for your support,
I don’t know what to do about this. I am connected… Looking inside my Google Account Third-party apps & services, it shows that I am connected to Rank Math with the correct Google Account and correct domain. But When I am inside Rank Math in my WP account it does not populate my domain in the dropdown.
I feel that I will have to go back to Yoast. Do you have any other suggestions that I can connect inside Rank Math?
Thanks,
MarkHello,
Please follow this guide to remove the Rank Math App from your Google account and reconnect it with all the required permissions, and see if that resolves the issue: https://rankmath.com/kb/analytics-issues/#expired-google-oauth-token
If the issue persists, then we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
I finally got my domain to show but cannot get anything to populate the next drop down menu.
Please go to https://outreachrealty.com/rank-math/ to see detailsHello,
We can see that you have connected your Google Account via a domain property (sc-domain:yourdomain.com) with our plugin.
Please note that our plugin is only compatible with the URL prefix properties and it doesn’t fully support fetching data from domain properties. Also, the IndexStatus feature doesn’t work with it.
You can follow the steps we shared above to create URL prefix properties: https://support.rankmath.com/ticket/connect-connect-through-google-connect/?view=all#post-745021
Regarding the Analytics, can you please confirm if you have an active Google Analytics account? You can follow this guideline to create a Google Analytics account for your websites: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/9304153?hl=en
In case, you have a Google Analytics account but on another email address, then you can follow this URL to transfer the property to the same email address: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/44500?hl=en
Once done, please try to reconnect your Google account again from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and see if that works for you.
Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
