Image_link problem/Google errors

    Hi,

    in the merchant center none of my products are approved because image_links are missing/could not be loaded. All products have at least one image, I am very confused! Please let me know how to fix this as I need my products on Google ASAP.

    Could you please also share the affected URL/s in the designated Sensitive Data section to further investigate?

    It is completely secure, and only our support staff has access to that section.

    However, if the images are being rejected by Google Merchant Center, you can also check if hotlink protection is enabled on your server by getting in touch with your web host.

    It looks like you are using invalid encoded images.

    Can you please share a specific product that has this issue or all your products are affected? Also, we might also need to check this one over your admin settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    Now actually all 539 products that Google has crawled (why not all 562 active ones we have??) are getting this error: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6240184?hl=en

    would it be possible to provide you with screenshots of the things you need to check out?
    We would prefer this.

    We have only used jpgs for our product images, and we are not getting image encoding errors but this https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/160640?hl=en for 4 products and this https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6240184?hl=en for 534 products. In total we have 562 products and 52 product drafts. Strangely, Google is alpo giving us errors for one product which is a draft!

    If they are all good, please go through the instructions here: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6240184?hl=en#zippy= to check the and ensure the product s have the required image link along with the additional link.

    Hi,
    thanks, but we already did this!! All our image follow the requirements. Still, the images could not be processed. It seems like Rank Math is not adding the correct image schema! Google requires image_link, but Rank Math has no image_link schema!

    Okay, I actually have a question: We have the option enabled “redirect attachment pages to post page”. And I noticed in the Merchant Center, when you look at all the products that are rejected, there are links for each product image: https://postimg.cc/qh828zB5

    “Bild öffnen” means “Open image”. And when I click on these links, I get directed to each single product’s page instead of the image url! This might me the problem, don’t you think? Rank Math is adding the product page url to the image schema intead of the image url. How can I add the image url to Rank Math product schema and still have the “redirect attachment to post page” option enabled?

    I have added another image in the senitive data for you to check, this is another example of a rejected product in the merchant center and the data Google is receiving from Rank Math for the image is the product page url instead of the image url!

    Thank you for the update, and sorry for the delay.

    Enabling the Redirect Attachments setting redirects the URLs of your attachment pages to the post that are used in. You can also check this link for more information:

    I’ve also checked the product you have provided schema using Google’s Rich Results test tool, and it seems that the image URL is already added in your schema. Please see the attached screenshot in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    Could you please try disabling the Redirect Attachments option then resubmit your products to Google Merchant Center and see if the issue still persists?

    and it seems that the image URL is already added in your schema

    This is what is so confusing. In the test tool, everything seems to be finde and the image url is correct. But in the Merchant Center all products are rejected and the warning is “Image processing failed” for every single product. And like I mentoned in my last post, when you click on each product, the product url and the image url are identical.

    So we have disabled the “redirect attachments” option in Rank Math settings and deleted the feed and started a new one, it will probably take a little while for Google to crawl again. I will get back as soon as I know more.

You can then share he CSV file with us so we can check the details from our end.
