However, if the images are being rejected by Google Merchant Center, you can also check if hotlink protection is enabled on your server by getting in touch with your web host.

We would prefer this.
We have only used jpgs for our product images, and we are not getting image encoding errors but this https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/160640?hl=en for 4 products and this https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6240184?hl=en for 534 products. In total we have 562 products and 52 product drafts. Strangely, Google is alpo giving us errors for one product which is a draft!

If they are all good, please go through the instructions here: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6240184?hl=en#zippy= to check the and ensure the product s have the required image link along with the additional link.

thanks, but we already did this!! All our image follow the requirements. Still, the images could not be processed. It seems like Rank Math is not adding the correct image schema! Google requires image_link, but Rank Math has no image_link schema!
Okay, I actually have a question: We have the option enabled “redirect attachment pages to post page”. And I noticed in the Merchant Center, when you look at all the products that are rejected, there are links for each product image: https://postimg.cc/qh828zB5
“Bild öffnen” means “Open image”. And when I click on these links, I get directed to each single product’s page instead of the image url! This might me the problem, don’t you think? Rank Math is adding the product page url to the image schema intead of the image url. How can I add the image url to Rank Math product schema and still have the “redirect attachment to post page” option enabled?
