My colleague only only added the English version of you URL as canonical under Rank math advanced metabox(check attached screencast). I have removed it and your translated URL is back on the sitemap, you can choose to add it. On the issue with the home tag added to your URL in the sitemap, this is related to how WPML is generating your homepage. We will also investigate this and will let you know.

Ok, Yoast does not have this problem.
it outputs https://www.***.com/en/ on the sitemap without any special setting.
(on our another wpml site)
