  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

I’ve checked your page using Google’s Rich Results test tool, but it seems to be working fine.

If your SSL is fine, then you can follow the steps in this link as it seems to be a temporary issue:
    https://www.technorahul27.in/2022/09/https-is-invalid-and-might-prevent-it.html

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.

I read the blog post but I still don’t understand what steps I should take to fix it.

    Hello,

We checked the affected post and it seems to be working just fine as you can see here: https://search.google.com/test/rich-results/result?id=_mrz9m1Ikd1Vw_Ih_Wmq_g

In this case, please attempt to clear your website cache and allow Google to recrawl the page.

    Looking forward to helping you.

I have cleared the cache but I can prove that the URL is not on Google. Because a) when I go to Google Search Console and inspect the URL, it says it’s not on Google. b) If you type “site:getpurify.co best anti aging cream” on Google, the blog post doesn’t show up.

    Hello,

I checked the page, it is correctly set to index and the SSL is also working fine.

In this case, please request indexing for the URL in the Search Console and wait for Google to crawl the page.

Please note that crawling and indexing of the website depend on the authority and crawl budget of the website.

It is completely up to Google if they want to index or not index your URLs. So, if you haven’t willingly or accidentally made your page noindex and Google still isn’t indexing your pages – it means that either Google doesn’t want to index or hasn’t crawled your posts yet because it hasn’t allocated that much crawl budget to your website.

We look forward to helping you.

I have tried requesting indexing multiple times but it keeps loading without doing anything for several minutes. Are there any changes I can make so Google considers indexing it?

    Hello,

I checked the page, it is set up correctly and there is nothing in the page source that could prevent indexing of the page.

In this case, you can try internal linking this post from a post that is already indexed and see if Google crawls and indexes the post.

    Hope this helps.

We look forward to helping you.

Tried that as well. I linked it from my homepage but it doesn’t seem to crawl.

    Hello,

Can you please inspect the URL with the URL Inspection tool and share a screenshot of the coverage report with us?

We look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I checked the sitemap page and it seems the affected URL is already listed in the sitemap. Please refer to my screenshot below:

    sitemap

Please ensure that your sitemap isn’t cached by any of your caching plugins. You may refer to this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

After doing so, remove all your sitemap/s from your GSC and re-submit only the primary sitemap (https://yourdomain.com/sitemap_index.xml).

Give Google some time to recrawl it and see if the issue persists.

    Hope that helps. Thank you.

I did the first step, but I can’t open the second link. I tried checking the sitemap on GSC and found out this: https://prnt.sc/tQmBwXolIhrw

This means that two of the four sitemaps are not fetched. I don’t know how to delete all of the sitemaps but I tried resubmitting the parent sitemap: https://getpurify.co/sitemap_index.xml

    Hello,

That might be an old report from Google since you haven’t removed the old sitemaps before re-submitting it.

Please click on the submitted sitemap, then on the upper right area, you should be able to remove it:

    sitemap

Please ensure that all caches are cleared on your website before re-submitting it.

Looking forward to helping you on this one.

I removed the sitemap and purged the cache. But when I resubmitted it, it showed the same data as shown in the last screenshot.

Is there any other place I can clear the cache so that the sitemap can be resubmitted all over again?

    Hello,

It seems like one of the four versions of your sitemap URL are not redirecting to the final version of your sitemap URL. Which is why it’s causing an error:

Error loading stylesheet: An unknown error has occurred (805303f4)

This can be a possible reason why you’re encountering the error on GSC. Here is a screenshot for your reference:

    redirect
    error

Please follow the URL below to redirect all versions of your URL to the final one:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/couldnt-fetch-error-google-search-console/#num-5-4-redirect-all-three-other-versions-to-your-preferred-variation

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
