    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

We’re not able to find any previous tickets on this account. However, if you’re not able to connect your Google account with Rank Math, please follow the steps below and see if that works for you:

    1. Make sure that you have verified your website on Google Search Console, if not, follow this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/google-site-verification/

    2. Please make sure that you are not connecting to Google Search Console via a domain property but rather a URL prefix and that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (HTTP or HTTPS, www or non-www).

    3. Please remove RankMath’s app from your Google apps permissions: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions

    4. Once done, reconnect the Google account again from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and configure the Search Console and Analytics settings again.

Kindly check all necessary checkboxes to allow Rank Math to access some of the Google Services.

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

Hi, my client has created a Google Analytics account for his website.
Should I use this account to connect to RankMath, if so how does he go about giving me access?

And can I link the Google Search console through my Google account?

With removing RankMath from Google apps permissions, why do I need to do this, and is this how I do it…
Click on “Delete all connections you have with Rank Math SEO”?

    Thanks, Carley

Also should I link the website to my Rank Math account as they are using the free version?
Or should I ask them to create their own account in case they upgrade later?

And is it ok to link it to my google account as I have set up the google search console in my google account?

    Thanks so much, Carley

Also with my client giving me access to his Google Analytics account, what kind of access does he need to give me? Administrator, or will another type be sufficient? Thanks, Carley

    Hello,

You can only connect one Google account with our plugin. Since you have used your Google account to verify the site property in the GSC account, you should ask your client to add your account to their GA account. They can follow this guide to do that: https://rankmath.com/kb/add-user-to-google-analytics/

Once done, navigate to WP Dashboard > Rank Math SEO > General Settings > Analytics and reconnect your Google account. You should be able to connect both GA & GSC after that.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

Ok thanks for the info. My client has added me as an admin to their GA account. But just realised they linked my domain email address to the account rather than my gmail address. My gmail address also has my domain email address linked to it. Will this work or will I need to add my gmail to the GA account? Thanks, Carley

    Hello,

    Thank you for your patience.

You may need to add your Gmail as admin in their GA account so you can connect both your Search Console and Analytics via Rank Math.

Once done, follow the steps we have shared above to reconnect your site.

    Looking forward to helping you.

Ok thanks. Should I install the easy or advanced version?

Hi again, my client also has their own google merchant account. I have already linked Rank Math to my google account, so is it possible to connect it to their account? If so how do we do this?
    Carley

    Hello,

You can use either mode. You can access the Analytics settings even with Easy mode.

Please note that our plugin doesn’t handle Google Merchant data but you can still ask your client to add your Gmail address as admin to their Google Merchant account.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any other questions.

    Hello,
We may not have linked everything correctly as I am not seeing any statistics under the Rankmath Analytics tab.
My client has linked it to his own RM account.
And the google search console is linked to my google account.
I can see stats in the google search console, but they aren’t showing up in the RM Analytics tab.
    Do you know why?
    Thanks, Carley.

    Hello,

For initial troubleshooting, you can try to follow this guideline and see if that works for you: https://rankmath.com/kb/delete-old-analytics-data/

If the issue persists, then we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,
I have put my login details into the sensitive data box.

Can you please help me with another question also?
We optimised the home page for “gifts for writers” and the other page for “word nerd”.
However the website wasn’t coming up in searchers for “gifts for writers”.
And my client thinks this is due to the home page not being able to have a page extension like this: https://wordnerdmerch.online/gifts-for-writers/

So I just tried swapping the home page around with the other page just so the “gifts for writers” page could have a link and rank higher.

But now I see it looks like the home page can have another link, but would this help the page to rank higher or not?

I hope this makes sense, if not please let me know.

    Thanks, Carley.
