    Hi Guys

Seems Rank Math has thrown up a bunch of errors in the log, can you quickly check to see if something needs fixing? The last 100 are in the sensitive data section. (some errors may not be related to you guys.

    Thanks

  • Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

does this correct the schema errors? My concern is that this all started at the latest the last update or perhaps the earliest v1.0.48.

Google advised that it’s because of a few issues such as 2 article schema for 1 article, incorrect use of webpage entity, and some other concerns.

Also, see sensitive data for semrush stability screenshot of review SERP in our top performers – it was rock steady until the last update.

    Hello,

Yes, the latest beta has several things related to the new Schema module.

Please test them using the following tool and let us know if you notice any discrepency:
    https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/u/0/

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

I cleared the cache after updating and checked the schema and it shows this

    isPartOf

    @type

    WebPage

    mainEntityOfPage

    @type

    WebPage

Plus also still 2 article schemas which is not recommended by Google.

    Hello,

In the sensitive data section, please add the links where you are seeing the issues.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hello,

Upon checking further, the issue is not coming from the Rank Math plugin.

It is either coming from the theme you are using or some other Schema plugin. Here’s a screenshot:
    schema error

Please get in touch with the theme or the other plugin developer to get this sorted out.

    Hope that helps. Thank you.

ok, will ask them, also – with regard to the entities, i don’t see a change from the last version.

Pls do not mark resolved as the entities issue is still there with the beta version that you recommended.

My theme has been in place since 2015, rank math 2020 – only now are the problem starting – it really does feel like i have to roll back.

    Hello,

That is not an issue. We have introduced the nested Schema in the latest update, it actually makes the Schema output more informative to Google by saying:
Article is the part of WebPage
WebPage is the part of WebSite
Website is the part of Organization

Hope that clears the confusion. Thank you.

It’s probably this change that is creating the SERP review rating instability on my site, there is no other reason why the SERP results are highly unstable since the weekend starting the 10th.

    Hello,

The possibility is of the conflicting Schema Markup.

Otherwise, the Schema Markup output of Rank Math had only improved.

    Hope that helps. Thank you.

Yes, possible but there is no option in the theme to take out their schema unless custom coded and as I said before the last update Google had no issue with showing my SERP results.

The path of least resistance would seem to be a rollback on Rank Math to get stability

HI, just to make it more confusing, all new reviews posted AFTER the 10th are stable in Google for rich snippets and schema reading including product scores.

It seems all the ones before your last update on the 10th are unstable.

See the screenshot in sensitive data for the one posted this evening.

Could it be one of the previous versions that has left a footprint in the posts up to then that is causing instability?

The previous URL (check in sensitive data) is still showing two article schema whereas the snapshot of the new entry today in sensitive data is showing one article schema form the theme and one webpage entry.

    OK so I discovered something.

New articles when saved are being saved with the theme article schema and your new webpage schema – they are currently stable for rich snippets.

Old articles have a blog posting schema from Rank Math and the theme article schema or 2 articles schema (rank math and theme).

When I try to delete the existing rank math blog posting or article schema inside these older posts it then results in 2 article schema and not one webpage and one article schema.

That is where one of the issues might be.
