  • Hello,

Sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

It seems like new tables are not getting created in the Database or some old plugin has left an incorrect entry.

    1. Please follow these steps to fix the issue:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/fatal-error-after-1-0-49-update/

    2. Please follow only the first 2 steps and clear your caches. The following steps mentioned in the article are for advanced users.

    Here’s a video screencast:

Please clear all the cache, including the server after following the above process.

That should resolve the issue. Thank you.

Hi, i have seen your response posted in a few other different queries. How sure are you that it related to my issues?

The Repair Action Scheduler process is complete. The following actions have been performed:

    No actions performed.

The Repair Action Scheduler plugin has been automatically deactivated.

    ***************
Kindly confirm that this is the anticipated outcome as it seems to match the video outcome.

    Hello,

Yes. That is an intended output.

Please activate the latest version of Rank Math and let us know if you are still facing any issues.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

What do you mean to activate the latest version? It was already activated when I sent the error log to you.

    Hello,

    Sorry for the confusion.

Can you please ask your hosting to increase the value of max_input_vars in the PHP.ini file? Over 3,000 is recommended.

Please let us know if that helps.

    Thank you.

ok will do that and feedback.

I actually have a much bigger issue on the schema side but no one has yet replied to it. Can you help?

    thanks

Hosting provider says no they cannot do that and only locally.

I tried adding to the htaccess file as per the following guidelines for htaccess and got an internal configuration error.

    php_value max_input_vars 3100
    php_value suhosin.get.max_vars 3100
    php_value suhosin.post.max_vars 3100
    php_value suhosin.request.max_vars 3100

    Hello,

Could you please try using the PHP.ini method to add this.

Here is a guide to help you.

Let us know how this goes.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Now set for 3000.

    Hello,

Are you still facing the issue?

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Yeah, spoke to the team managing the server, your software is causing 100% CPU spike every time we either save an article or publish an article.

I have to count to 60 before I can do anything.

    Hello

Sorry for the inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

Before I do that I am thinking of rolling back to v1.0.47.1 for a few reasons, load seemed lighter but also all the schema issues in the new version are causing problems I have highlighted before.

Any potential for db or process errors by rolling back to that version?

    Hello,

We would not recommend rolling back to the older version.

We released a quick Beta update you can try to see if that helps. It is much lighter compared to any other version. We removed many unused code from it.

Please enable the Beta update by following this:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/version-control/#beta-updates

    beta update

If you are unable to see an update, please clear Rank Math’s transients from:
WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools > Remove Rank Math Transients > Remove transients
    remove transients rank math

Please clear the caches, server, and WordPress after updating.

You can disable the Beta updates once you update to the latest version and if the issue is fixed.

We are here to assist. Thank you.
