Elementor Update button

  • Hi,

    Elementor worked fine until I installed RM. Now the Elementor Update button appears Green when I open a page.

    Also, the button goes green again after being clicked.

    I see no error messages.

    The server has plenty of memory/resources so that shouldn’t be the problem.

    The issue seems to be there even with Rank Math deactivated. Check the video link I have shared, Elementor is ready to publish and green even without creating anything.https://i.rankmath.com/FMlGhB

    It is likely coming from Elementor or a conflict with another plugin/theme. Please contact the Elementor team to assist you with this.

    Yes, I noticed that, as mentioned above, after finally waking up this morning. However, I only see the green button when RM is activated, otherwise no problem.

    You say contact Elementor. I did that initially before contacting you for support, which helped narrow down that RM is the issue.

    I’ve moved to Facebook for support, I’ll probably end up removing RM if I don’t find a solution there.

    Thank you for the update and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    I am using Rank math with Elementor and I am still unable to replicate this issue. We might have to disable each plugin to check for conflicting plugins. Would you mind creating a staging and share access site for us so we can look into this issue further.

    Staging site set up as requested.

    I disabled all plugins and themes before hence I discovered RM to be the issue.

    Of note, at one point I lost about 3 hours work when some sections and widgets disappeared.

    I am not sure but have you tried clearing your browser cache?

    This is from your staging website and with both Rank Math and Elementor enabled.

    With that said, even if you are seeing the button appear green for some unknown reason – it is nothing to be worried about. Just hit it once and leave the page.

    In the meantime, we will also try and diagnose this issue further from our end.

    Of course, I tried clearing my browser cache. I’m a web designer, I do that about 10 times a day.

    As I said, I lost data, so there is an issue and simply clicking the Publish button one more time is not reliable, particularly when sometimes you have to click the button several times to make it go grey.

    I’ll ask some fellow web designers to login and check the issue as it’s very odd you cannot replicate the issue on my staging site.

    Either way, the issue remains after the beta update.

    If I disable RM the issue is resolved.
