  • Hi there
I can’t connect to google search console and analytics. I tried reconnecting more than 10 times and even use another google account but it says “Warning: You have not given the permission to fetch this data. Please reconnect with all required permissions.”
I have read all you articles and tried everything found on google.
Here is the error screenshot: https://ibb.co/n6MjDb3

    Hello,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention and apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Could you please check whether the email address that you are using to verify the site is listed as the property owner on your search console?

Also, please make sure that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (HTTP or HTTPS, www or non-www).

You can also try using the Google Site Kit if it still won’t work and disable the Search Console inside Rank Math by going to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard (disabling the module is like disabling the entire code related to that module, so your site won’t get slow).

I hope that helps and please do not hesitate to contact us back anytime if you require further assistance.

    Cheers,

    Hello Cris
    Thanks for your kind reply.
I’m sure that my email is the property owner and the website is verified correctly.
I think Rank Math can’t connect to google services correctly but I don’t know why.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Can you please try to connect your Google Service using another browser like Google Chrome or Safari? There have been issues when configuring Google Analytics with Firefox and we are working on a fix.

Also, make sure that you don’t have an Adblocker installed on your browser as it will disrupt some of the functionality of Rank Math.

If the issue persists on your end, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hi
I did it all using google chrome and I tried Microsoft Edge but still not working.
Can it be a server side problem? If yes, how can I check it?
    I’m using shared hosting.

    Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

Could you please check if you are using Google Analytics 4 in your account?

GA4 is relatively a new product and there could be data discrepancies if we were to integrate them into Rank Math. And the fact that their APIs are not yet fully ready for 3rd party integration, there is not much we can do.

However, we will begin working on the integration as soon as they improve their V4 API.

In the meantime, you can enable GA v3 by following this:
    create a property
    and then choose
    ga 3

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Hi
I mentioned in my first message that I have read and tried every solution I found on your website and google but none of them solved the problem.
I create another property for the 3rd time and tested it with 2 gmail accounts.
Let’s think that I don’t want to connect google analytics to rank math and I just want to connect google search console to it. Is it possible?
Because It can’t even connect to google search console.

    Hello,

Thank you for keeping in touch with us.

If you are using the recommended version of Google Analytics and verified the correct version of your website (www and none www), then there shouldn’t be any problems connecting to the Google service.

Would you mind sharing your website admin dashboard so we can take a closer look at it and see why you can’t connect to the Google service? Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Could you please remove the Rank Math application from here? https://myaccount.google.com/permissions

Then proceed with the connection again and make sure to accept all the permissions that appear on the screen.

If you see an error message during any of the steps please take note of that and report back with that message so we can debug further.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Hi
First of all, Thank you very much for your kind support.

I still have the same problem. Here is what I done:
    1. Rank Math permission removed from google
    2. In the RankMath General setting >> Analytics, clicked on “Connect Google Services”
    3. All The permissions granted to Rank math
    4. backed to the Rank Math settings and I received the same error: “Warning: You have not given the permission to fetch this data. Please reconnect with all required permissions.”
    5. Disconnected the Rank Math from google again and tried the process using another gmail account.

I can attach the step by step screenshots if needed.

    Hello,

Thanks for getting back to us.

If you go to that property on your Google Search Console what is the exact URL you have there? Please take a screenshot of the property URL on the left-hand side and share it with us via a service like https://imgbb.com.

You can share the screenshot in the sensitive data section.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Thank you for getting back to us.

I tried connecting using my Rank Math email address (I will be including that in the sensitive data section so you know it was me that tried) and I was never asked for permissions related to Rank Math.

This leads me to believe that you might have set up the website verification on Google Search Console wrongly. Are you setting up this website as a subdomain instead of an independent website? Could you please create an independent property for this subdomain and see if that helps fix the issue?

Also, make sure that you are only registering the correct version of your website. In this case HTTPS and non-www.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Hello Miguel

As you can see in the search console screenshot that I mentioned in sensitive date, I added my main domain and the shop subdomain as “Domain property” and “URL prefix”. And I don’t have any errors there and it working correctly.

Do you mean that I should delete all of them and add them again independently?
If yes, how should I add it again? Should I add it as “URL Prefix”?

Just for your information, I added “https://shop.daytg.com” as a “URL Prefix” using another gmail account and tested it but still couldn’t connect to Rank Math correctly.

    Hello,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Could you please make sure that you add this URL as a URL-prefix property to your main account?

Also, please record the process of connecting your Google Analytics with Rank Math so we can further debug the process and make sure you are following all the correct steps.

To record the process you can use a tool like Loom: https://loom.com

Looking forward to hearing back from you.
