Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
We released a new update fixing several issues a few hours ago. Could you check it and let us know if your problem is solved?
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Alberto, thanks!
Sadly, when I re-run the SEO analysis, the old version of the website’s appearance on Mobile is still displayed since the recent RankMath update – I have Version 1.0.42.3 by the way.
The mobile image displayed is of a version of the home page that is now several days old.
In the Sensitive Data section, I have appended a URL link to a screen shot of what I’m seeing right now in the RankMath SEO analysis. I’ve also appended a link there of the current appearance of the home page on an iPhone X (I understand there might be minor differences for what RankMath displays, but the content has changed so much, this could not account for the difference).
What should I do next please?
Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.
Have you been able to purge your site cache and then run the SEO analysis to check if the same error will be reported?
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
Michael, Hi!
Sorry, purging the cache three times over has made no difference. When I re-run SEO Analysis, I get the same incorrect image in the mobile representation.
I host this site at SiteGround (www.siteground.co.uk) on a shared server.
They provide a three level cache system. Step 1 and step 3 are configured in the cPanel – both are functioning and configured in the default settings. Step 2 is provided in the form of a plugin run on the WordPress site. That’s called SG Optimiser which only works if the site is hosted on SiteGround (which it is). I have Step 2 configured in the default settings.
I have checked that the cache is correctly purged.
What next please? And…. Thank You! 🙂
Hi Charlie,
I am sorry but the API we use to generate thumbnails (thumb.io) might have a cache of their own. Unfortunately, we do not have control over that so you must allow it some time to clear. Or, use other tools in the meantime to check mobile thumbnail if you are concerned.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
