Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
The plugin will automatically grab the description from the excerpt when a manual description has not been set. I have overridden the current homepage description for you with a manual one from the post to fix the shortcodes issue.

Just checked this in Facebook and it still pulls the vc codes. Looks great on Bing and Google, so thank you! But, I really need to advertise this on Facebook and would love to hide the shortcodes displaying.

The Facebook data is always retrieved from the cache, I have gone ahead and scraped the URL on the Facebook Debugger and this is now retrieving the correct data as shown below:
