Thanks for contacting us and we regret the inconvenience caused.
Rank Math does not remove the data from the plugin from which the data is getting imported, it just fetches a copy of the data.
Could you please confirm, whether you have a backup of your website (taken before the data was lost)? If yes, then you can easily restore the data.

Thanks for a quick reply. I think I know what happened.
1. I imported the SEO data from Yoast. I worked fine.
2. By mistake I then started a new import from the same Yoast database.
3. I tried to stop the second import by clicking on “Clean” where usually there is a cancel button (I mean next to any action button).
4. I could not undo the cleaning which I guess erased all Yoast data.
Correct analysis?

Just to add a Cancel-button next to the Import-button would prevent this mistake, I guess.

If you clicked on the Clean button, then a confirmation window would have appeared stating “Are you sure you want erase traces of plugin?”. If you click on the “OK” button on the confirmation window, then all the data of the plugin would be removed.

1. The import process was completed the first time and you can see all the imported Data in Rank Math?
2. You have a backup of your website prior to the date when the data was lost?

1. No. The last 300 articles that I checked are totally void of all SEO data.
2. We have a backup. Yes. We are moving back the site now to see if all is okay.
Don’t give up on me. I love this plugin, Rank Math. I have tried it before and it´s great.
