XML manually or automatically copy to server

    Good morning,

    Rankmath generates an XML-file.

    But is that file automatically placed in the root of my webhosting-server, or do i have to upload the XML-file myself (after login in to that server)?

    Furthermore i saw that Jetpack makes also a XML-file. Do i have to switch that option to OFF, to avoid conflicts?

    Thank you for getting in touch with us.

    Rank math sitemap is a dynamic file and is only kept temporarily in Rank math sitemap cache folder which is flushed and auto-generated each time a new post is published. There is no actual file that you can download/upload. If you need to have a file for your server, you can try mapping the sitemap xml URL to a file on your server.

    Since you are already using Rank math sitemap, I’d recommend keeping other sitemap plugins disabled to avoid any conflicts.
