    Rank Math free

Hello. I have set up the SEO of multiple product pages, and products using RankMath on my website (www.fashionclap.com).
However, when I search for a product or a product page on Google, only a part of the SEO title I have set up appears, and not the beginning of the sentence.
for example, for the 1st screenshot attached below, the SEO title is set to be “Buy Zadig & Voltaire Women Dresses & Jumpsuits” as you can see in the 2nd screenshot when I hover the mouse over the tite, yet it appears “Voltaire Women Dresses & Jumpsuits…” on Google. The Same applies for products.
What to do to fix this issue as the brand’s name is Zadig & voltaire and it’s not logical that only the 2nd half of the sentence appears on google rather than starting from the beginning.
Kindly answer as soon as possible because this would hurt the brand’s image and decrease the credibility of my e-commerce.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Please note that the image title on the SERP are taken directly from your page or any other related page when Google thinks it’s beneficial for the user to show those.

The best action you could do is to ensure that the alt texts, the title, and even the captions are optimized based on the search key (keyword) you intend to use.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Hello again,
What I meant to say is that I am using the focus keyword in my SEO Title, description, alt text, title, and the focus keyword contains the whole sentence written above.
However, it appears different on google.

    Hello,

If you look at your website on Google images you will see that a lot of them already include the new title.

This is perfectly normal as Google doesn’t update a website results on SERPs immediately and it takes weeks to update the website.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    also,
i wanted to raise another issue: When I search for some products on Google by their product code which normally works perfectly, if the product is sold out, in the SERPs on google images, it shows the image of the product that is out of stock, with the SEO title and description of whole other products!!! I have no problem of showing other products of my website as this one is out of stock but showing the image of a product and the title of a completely different product is unacceptable.
    Screenshots below to further explain:

Screenshot 1: Product image with the appropriate product code that I searched on Google in its alt text: https://ibb.co/RQyX6Hb
Screenshot2: SEO set up of the product: https://ibb.co/bKXgXPS
Screenshot 3: what appeared on google: https://ibb.co/C7JNNws
Screenshot 4: my search on Google – shows product image with another seo title: https://ibb.co/QnCVtRg

It happened with other products too. please help

    Hello,

Just like the title for your image, this is an automated process and no SEO plugin or tool has control over what comes out on the image search.

Best practices to get desired thumbnails with the correct title or vice versa are to add images on your page that you want to display on SERPs and also include a featured image. Ensure that the images contain proper ALT texts (which you already did). This will give Google the correct indications and it might show the picture in the future.

This may be just temporary. You may wait for a couple of days or weeks and see if the details will be updated on the SERP.

Looking forward to helping you on this one.
