    I use a power word in the blog-title, but Rank Math doesn’t recognize it.

    (1) I took words like “absolutely” from your english list.

    (2) Also I had a print_r look for the list in my system and took a german word.

    (3) I added some word by using add_filter

    add_filter( ‘rank_math/metabox/power_words’, function( $words ){ … }

    None of them worked on my system. Waht to do?

    Hello,

    Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    I was able to check that you are not using the power word in the SEO title. The test is for the SEO title and not for the post title. Please use the power word in the SEO title to pass the test.

    thank you for your quick answere. I’m sorry, but that does not work:

    I have put the word “Gefahr” into SEO-Title, but Rank Math doesn’t accept it, though it is part of the $words-Array.

    Can you have a closer look to it, please?

    Hello,

    I checked and if you remove the question mark then you will be able to pass the test:

    Currently, we check for an exact match of the power word. We are working on improving this but for now, you will have to remove the question mark to pass the test or inset a space between the work and question mark. You can also ignore the test or disable it completely using this filter: https://rankmath.com/kb/disable-seo-content-tests/#num-21-disable-title-has-power-words-test

    ah, that works.

    It also works with added words by add_filter function, but how can I integrate words with umlauts ä/ö/ü/ß?

    $new_words = [
    “gefährlich”,
    ];

    BTW: In your standard-array is “gefahrlich”, but this doesn’t exists in German, as all the other wrong words in the list.

    Shall I give you a correct list? So I would work on it to offer you help.

    Hello,

    The power words functionality does not currently support special characters like umlauts. We are always looking for ways to improve and will add support for special characters in the future.

    Once special characters are available we will be able to update foreign language lists with the correct words.
