Why is my blog not indexed with the RankMath settings?

    Rank Math free

This WordPress blog is opened for 2 years now – madalinflorea.ro is the homepage. I use Neve theme + Elementor + WP Fastest Cache + AMP as plugins. Not a single setting made in RankMath is visible on Google (each page has green 80+ score on settings), even though I waited for some articles already a year. Instead, it shows the first few words the article or page has as description in the search results.

I checked if the meta description is present in the page source and it is, so RankMath does its thing. Why is this not presented on the Google results tho? Using Google Search Console it says the page and subpages are all indexed. I requested again and again indexing, but nothing.

Is it a problem with the plugins? Please let me know what possible solutions there are. If it works, I will 100% buy the full version of RankMath, having such a nice community which helped me with this one. Thanks a lot!

EDIT: I check on some of the first articles, one is indexed well in Google, but bad in BING.. some more are indexed well in Bing, but wrong in Google.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

It is a pretty common thing with search engines these days. It happens with 70% of the results that even if everything’s fine, they decide to show a different meta title/description for your search keyword, there is nothing you can do as it sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and show something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.

You can refer to this guide for more information:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/different-meta-title-and-description/

I hope this helps. Looking forward to helping you.

The guide mentioned only describes the problem, no solutions given there. So I have no option than to see how my work of setting each page for SEO optimization is for nothing? What’s the purpose of RankMath then?

    Hello,

Our plugin adds the correct meta tags to your site. You can confirm that by using a tool like https://heymeta.com/

However, if Google doesn’t find the title & description set by you relevant for the search term, they can decide to show something else from the content of your page. In this case, you can try to optimize the SEO title & description and wait for Google to decide to show it in the SERPs.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you need any other assistance.
