Why create a Facebook App?

    In Titles & Meta > Social Meta there is the field to set a Facebook App ID.

    My question is: why should have I to create an app? Which are the benefits?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

    This data is used in the knowledge graph and the local SEO and is completely optional. If your site uses a custom app for sharing posts or other functionality then you can add the APP ID on this option but if you do not have any functionality that requires an app then you can skip this field.
