Why auto-renewal has been stopped?

#786646
  • Hello,
I submitted a ticket a week ago, but I didn’t get a reply yet. Maybe something went wrong, and it hasn’t gone through. So I try a second time.

It seems that my Rankmath Pro subscription has stopped while I always had automatic renewal on at $59 per year. Why is that? Because I didn’t stop autorenewal myself. Is it because the price went up, and you don’t like customers to auto-renew at the old price?

So, I would like to auto-renew at the price that I signed up for in the first place in 2022. If that isn’t possible, then please let me know.

    Best regards,
    Lars Nelissen

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting support.

All the subscriptions, even the old ones are being updated to reflect the new pricing structure and the same was true for your PRO subscription.

However, the issue for the auto-renewal not going through is different from the pricing as your subscription was canceled on September 2023, meaning that it remained active only until the next renewal date of April 6th.

Our records indicate that the cancellation happened on September 2nd, and there is no indication of it being done by our team.

To regain access to the PRO features you would need to purchase a new subscription from the current pricing page here: https://rankmath.com/pricing

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    Hello,

To purchase a new subscription, I wouldn’t have to contact support for that.
Well, I also didn’t stop the subscription, so it must have been a mistake.

Anyway, in that case, I find Rankmath Pro with the new pricing a bit expensive. This also takes into account that I had a long-time problem activating the Pro plan on two of my 3 websites (see earlier tickets). And considering the fact that some features don’t work properly, like automatically adding Alt description to images, a feature I activated, but this never worked on any of my sites. I always have to add these manually.

Thank you, but I’ll look into some alternative SEO plugins available to give them a try.

    Best regards,
    Lars Nelissen

    Hello,

Sure that is fine. But if you’re still using the Rank Math plugin we’ll be happy to help investigate the issues you raised.

We should also mention that, despite the price changes, Rank Math remains one of the most affordable SEO plugins available in the market, and it is still cheaper than Yoast and AIO SEO, while offering better results. We believe that these changes will help us to be sustainable in the long run.

    Thank you for your understanding.
