As an initial troubleshooting step please follow the below steps and see if that helps:
1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

2. Apart from Nitropack, if you’re using any caching plugins as well, please exclude the Sitemap files of Rank Math from the caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article: https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/
3. Clear your website and browser’s cache and check the sitemaps.
If the issue persists, as the error seems to be pointing towards the Nitropack, please temporarily disable it and see if it helps. If not, assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

I can check that the issue is caused by the Nitropack plugin. It is adding the code to the sitemap which is causing the error:
