    Hi,
    I have problem with sitemap.
    I am using nitropack and i excluded sitemaps to be cached and it was working fine..
    Haven’t changed anything on website and sitemaps just stops working, actually it works but it shows the whitepage.
    when i enter the main-sitemap.xsl it shows that error:

    This page contains the following errors:
    error on line 258 at column 22: Specification mandates value for attribute nitro-exclude
    Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

    i have another website on same server, where rankmath and sitemap works perfectly.

    any idea? i have read all your FAQ, doing the changes via .htaccess, new perm links etc..

    Thank you for contacting the support and we regret the inconvenience caused.

    As an initial troubleshooting step please follow the below steps and see if that helps:
    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

    2. Apart from Nitropack, if you’re using any caching plugins as well, please exclude the Sitemap files of Rank Math from the caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article: https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

    3. Clear your website and browser’s cache and check the sitemaps.

    If the issue persists, as the error seems to be pointing towards the Nitropack, please temporarily disable it and see if it helps. If not, assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');

    You can follow this guide to add the filter:

    Once done, please flush the sitemap’s cache by following this screencast again and see if that helps: https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

    I can check that the issue is caused by the Nitropack plugin. It is adding the code to the sitemap which is causing the error:

    Please get in touch with the support of Nitropack and inform them about the issue. They should be able to help you resolve this.

    it helps to downgrade Nitropack plugin.

    this is what i received from Nitropack support:

    Hello Adam,

    Thank you for contacting us on the matter!

    We have managed to pinpoint the issue, and that it’s connected to the plugin that you’re using for the Sitemap – RankMath SEO.

    Currently we are working towards a resolution, but in the meantime, you can downgrade to Nitro 1.5.12 if you’d like, this problem was not present in that version.

    Thank you for your patience while our developer work on resolving this.

    for now it’s working.
