Which Schema should i be using.

    Hi,

    Which schema should I be using when reviewing software? I noticed the “review” schema type is no more.

    Would the “product” one work or should I use “Software Application”?

    I’m looking for the star rating to show in google ideally. For normal articles, I will use “article” and article type: “blog post”? I’m not sure what the differences are between blog posts and article, to be honest?

    The most suitable option would be the “Software Application” since it has all the relevant fields for software and it will ensure that you get rating stars.

    An article is useful for a standard page or post but for frequent posts you can use blogpost schema.

    Thanks for replying I’ve start to add that to my page.

    I have another slight issue though. As I’ve been adding the shortcode to my articles at the bottom my elementor table of contents is picking up the schema.

    Ideally, I wouldn’t have this picking it up. Not sure if this is more an elementor issue as its asking for a “CSS selectors, in a comma-separated list” I can add to exclude this?
