When Sharing a Page, the Thumbnail That Appears Instead of The Logo - Support

I’ve posted a new page, then I want to share the article page with my viewers on Facebook.

I shared it on Facebook using the fanspage.

And after being previewed, my article thumbnail images did not appear on Facebook. Instead, the logo appears from my website

Meanwhile, I have added a thumbnail while I was editing content

in fact this applies to all of my content

Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

As I can see inside the page source, you are using the logo Wantek-Ikon.png for of image.

Please see the screenshot below:

You can try to add image for your social image preview like this:
$Og image$

If you are using any cache plugin, try to clear the cache and try again how it goes.

Is there no other way than to add social images manually?

So even though I don’t add social images, the thumbnail images I set appear automatically

Hello,

Thanks for getting back.

The OG image is taken from the image that you have set in the social media preview or from the featured image of your page/post. If none of this is set then the image is taken from the default OG image set in the WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Global Options

Please try after clearing the cache of your site and if it still doesn’t work then we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

Thanks for sharing the details.

I checked and the image you are using is in .webp format. Facebook doesn’t support this format for preview images that’s why it’s not being added as OG image and default image is being used.

Please use an image with jpg or png format and check again.
