Everything work fine with verification in my google search console. And https://search.google.com/search-console?resource_id=sc-domain%3Achibirustore.com see my domain name. However, I can’t see my site in the drop down list. Please Help!

*Note I already try to disable all the plugin and still face the same problem. Also I use the same gmail to verify my google search console & RankMath. However, i think that the problem come from using DNS Cloudflare. I still don’t know. If it possible please check my wordpress. Thank you

  • Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

Please make sure that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (http or https, www or non-www).

If it still doesn’t work, we have found that using a different Google account to verify your domain and connect your website usually works. Or, you can try using the Google Site Kit if it still won’t work and disable the Search Console inside Rank Math by going to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard

I hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Hi,

I’m having exactly the same problem. And I can confirm that I have verified “https”.

    Is this a bug?

Can you please help me fix it?

    Thank you,

    DC

    Hello Douglas,

Please try using a different Google account to verify your domain and connect your website, this usually works.

If that doesn’t work fr you, you can try using the Google Site Kit if it still won’t work and disable the Search Console inside Rank Math by going to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard

I hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thanks.

I already tried using Google Site Kit but it didn’t work because I’m using a multisite and it also slowed down my entire network really badly.

How do I verify using a different Google account? Don’t I need to be the owner of the site to verify? And therefore, isn’t not possible for a non-owner to verify?

    Thanks,

    Doug

    Hello,

You can authorize new users as owners on Google Search Console, here is a guide that could help you: https://support.google.com/webmasters/thread/3050304?hl=en

    Looking forward to help you.

    Hi,

I don’t think you understand the problem.

I have already successfully verified the site with Google Search Console and have the verification code plugged in at admin.php?page=rank-math-options-general#setting-panel-webmaster (my user name is “webmaster”). However, the site does not appear in the dropdown at dmin.php?page=rank-math-options-general#setting-panel-search-console. There is a blue button that reads, “De-authorize Account”, but that’s it.

What must I do to get the site to appear in the dropdown?

    Thanks for your help.

    Doug

    Hello,

We have seen some users having that issue, with it not working but Site Kit working. We are working on a fix and we will release it soon but meanwhile, since you have tried everything, let me ask the dev team if they have any other workaround for you.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Alberto, I am experiencing the same problem. My site is verified with two different Google accounts but still doesn’t appear in the dropdown box in the Search Console. When you have the fix you said you are working on, will it automatically bring my site into the Search Console? Or, will I need to do something for the fix to work? I do not want to add another plugin if possible, or I would try the Google Site Kit.

    Please advise. Thanks.

    Hello @Bonnie Wiley,

We will let you know as soon as the update is released and if there is anything you will need to do from your end. For now, I can recommend you try using the Site Kit plugin

Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.

Can you please provide a link to the “Site Kit” plugin?

    Thank you,

    Doug

    Thank you.

Any news on when the fix might be ready? I am having the same problem and I don’t want to use the site kit (extra bulk that my site does not need and it has enough bad ratings for me).

    Thanks!

    Hello Rachael,
