Webpages Titles Altered When I Added the Rankmath Plugin

    Hey,

    I added the Rankmath plugin and now when I do a hard paste of a lot of the webpages or when I hover my cursor over an open tab, it renders the title of the WordPress theme I used to build the website, instead of the name of the webpage that was there originally.

    Tried getting solutions from the knowledge base but yet to find a solution.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    We want to look at the issue you are currently facing using Rank Math.

    Since the title displayed is the title coming from your theme, you might need to check your theme’s settings.

    Try using one of the default WordPress themes to see if the title you set in Rank Math will be displayed correctly?

    Can you please share the affected URL so we can check as well?

    Also, assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

    I have just deactivated the Rankmath Plugin and the issue has been resolved. So it means it’s a setting within Rankmath. Until I figure out the solution, I’m afraid it will just have to be deactivated.
