    Hi there,

    I keep on getting this message on top of my admin section within wordpress.

    ”We detected new post type(s) (asp-products), and you would want to check the settings of Titles & Meta page and the Sitemap.”

    I am not sure what to do on regarding the above message, please assist.

    Plus this one:

    ”Since you are using NGINX, add this code to your NGINX configuration file if your Sitemap pages are not loading or you can ask your hosting support to add it. Click here to see the code.”

    This last message, does this need to be done by or the host? WordPress hosts my website.

    Hi Will,

    Thanks for getting in touch with us.

    1. If you are unsure of what to do with it, just ignore the message and close it. It just means you added a new type of content but some plugins add a hidden post type which doesn’t actually add content. If that is happening here, ignore the message.

    2. Most users use Apache. In case the sitemaps don’t work for you, you can check if you are using Nginx at WordPress Dashboard > Tools > Health Check > Info. If so, get in touch with your webhost and give them the code to add. This is also not needed in most cases.

    IS it common for people to give you their login credentials in WordPress for example so you can login and check if something is missing/wrong?

    Or login credentials are not advised to be given away?

    Otherwise I can provide mine so you can check point 1 ? if I close it, it comes back when I login again.

    Sorry just to confirm, Apache is an alternative to NGINX? I have never installed NGINX and to this moment I had not heard of that.

    Hi Will,

    We only ask for logins when it is absolutely necessary.

    1. You might have to disable Rank Math and enable it again to get rid of it.

    2. Yes, Nginx is a web server software, just like Apache.
