Warning in Google Search Console upon RankMath install

    Hi there,

    I installed Rank Math a few days ago and immediately my Enhancements -> Smartphone crawler (AMP) from the Google Search Console issued warning, when there were none before.

    On the other hand, when I go to RankMath Dashboard -> Modules, in the AMP section I get the message: “Install AMP plugin to make Rank Math work with Accelerated Mobile Pages. Rank Math automatically adds required meta tags in all the AMP pages.” Clicking through shows me the list of approved AMP plugins. Problem is I have been using the official AMP plugin for WordPress (https://wordpress.org/plugins/amp/) for a long time – this being the first one on the recommended lists of AMP plugins. I am not sure if the message displayed means there is some sort of miscommunication between RankMath and the AMP plugin – or that message is there all the time, regardless of an AMP plugin being installed or not.

    Can you please help? Any idea what is going on and if my Search Console warning is related to RankMath – or just a coincidence?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    The message you see in the AMP Section is always displayed, just a way to remember about it to the user. Since you have it enabled, the AMP integration is working fine (if not, you won’t be able to turn it on).

    About the warning in the Search Console, I tried to log in but you seem to have enabled in the account an extra layer of security and I was requested to unlock your phone to log in the console, so I was not able to see it.
