    Hello,

    I was considering upgrade Rank Math to Pro, to use the video sitemap at the same time as using the video schema type (structured data). In relation to this, how is the use of the video sitemap for better search engine indexing specifically?

    The video sitemap replaces the sitemap of the site, so having already submitted my sitemap to the search engines I should not have to change anything, for example in Google Search Console or Bing? Or should I add the video sitemap in addition to the sitemap?

    In a nutshell, once the video sitemap has been created, it is not clear to me what steps to take for the various search engines.

    EDIT: About structucred data, the informations had to add manually for every video page?

    Video sitemap helps Google and other search bots easily find more information about where videos are placed so that they can be indexed.

    The video sitemap does not replace the main sitemap, it is added as a sub sitemap to the main sitemap.

    If you have already submitted the sitemap_index.xml in the Search Console and Bing webmaster, you don’t need to make any changes.

    We do provide an option to add the Video Schema automatically.

    Hello,

    really many thanks for the two answers, I thought I had deleted this post, I suppose you immediately guessed that categorizing it rank math pro due to the characteristics of that version but that did not allow me to see the post itself.

    Thanks also for the exhaustive reply and the indication of the option to retroactively indicate posts as videos.
