Video sitemap for local hosted videos and YouTube videos

    Hi,

    I know the Pro version is coming soon. Will there be a video sitemap available with that version?
    I really need a local hosted and YouTube video sitemap for my WooCommerce products.

    I also have a quick question related to this: let’s say I add a video schema markup to a WooCommerce product (right now that’s possible from what I checked), if a search engine picks up that product, will it show the video thumbnail in the search results?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

    1. We are working on adding the video sitemap but we don’t have a specific time that we will be released yet. At the moment you can use a third party sitemap plugin that supports this. Just ensure to disable the Rank math sitemap module in Rank math dashboard to avoid any conflicts on your site.

    2. Adding the video schema for your video posts is a good starts. However, just like product images, showing the thumbnail for your products on SERPs is usually up to Google. The best you can do is optimize your media content and info such as the title to make it relate to the post/page it is on. You should also check your URL with Google rich results test tool: https://search.google.com/test/rich-results and make sure there are no errors reported.
