Video errors on Google Search Console

Hi, I have a page of YouTube videos on my website (a playlist from YouTube).

I am receiving two Google Search Console errors on the page:

*Date/time not in ISO 8601 format in field “uploadDate”
*Invalid value type for field “uploadDate”

So something is wrong with how the upload date is being read by Google.

The page is created in Elementor and also includes text, a button, etc.

The videos are added to the page using a shortcode via the 10Web YouTube plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wd-youtube/)

On the RankMath Seo schema settings, I picked Article since the page has more than just videos.

On the 10Web YouTube plugin there’s an option to Add Video SEO Tags. I have that enabled.

Any idea how I can fix those console errors?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hello,

Since those tags (and schema) were added by the YouTube plugin, you should check with their support since for sure they will know better how to fix that issue in their plugin.

If the problem continues, let us know and we will see what can we do.

    Looking forward to help you.

    Hi Alberto,

Thanks for responding! I did reach out to support for the YouTube plugin over a week ago. Unfortuantely, they haven’t responded.

I don’t want to waste your time if RankMath isn’t the reason for the errors. I’ll try contacting the plugin author via another method.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

We are always happy to help where we can. I’ve also tested the page in question but I could not detect the errors that you mentioned earlier. The only “Article Schema” errors that is visible is the following:

You can easily fix this error by supplying an organization logo by heading over to Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Local SEO > Logo as shown below:

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Thanks Michael!

This is what it shows in my google search console:

    “meta itemprop=”uploadDate” content=”2019, November 19″

From what I understand the upload date should be in this format: 2019-11-19

But I don’t see any way of editing the upload date. It doesn’t seem to show up when I use the “inspect page” function in Google Chrome.

Anyway, do you know of a way that I can edit that? If not, no worries.

    Thanks for everything!

    Hello,

I was trying to check if we could find any filter to edit that meta but now I was checking your website and I can’t find that error anymore? Were you able to fix it?

    Looking forward to help you.

    Hi Alberto,

I turned off the SEO from the YouTube video plugin and added this plugin:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/schema/

Hopefully that helps solve the issue.

Thanks for all you help! You guys are awesome. Can’t wait till the paid version of RankMath comes out!!!
