“Use Focus Keyword in the URL.” message for new posts or even edited ones

    Rank Math free

I have the latest version of RankMath Version 1.0.106. And I noticed this in earlier versions as well.

Even if I put the url as exactly the keyword with hyphens between the words as spaces it does not see that the url will be the same as the keyword. The page is not saved yet so the url is a preview url.

If you go to Edit the snippet and change the url by hand it still does not work properly.

If you publish the post and go to the page, the keyword is the url. In WordPress admin it still gives the above error.

I have found that if you edit the snippet again and go to the url and delete at least 2 characters and then retype them, then the error goes off and your RankMath score goes up a few points. You can save and the score stays.

But I was hoping you could consider fixing this even to make an easier workflow.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Can you please confirm if you use any page builders? There is a chance this issue could be caused by the page builder.

Please let us know so we can evaluate the issue from our side.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you

I am using Spectra theme, Starter Templates setup and no other plugins for page builders.

    Hello,

It would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

Please use the Health check plugin so that you can find out if there are any plugin conflicts or not. Here is the troubleshooting guide to check plugin conflict:

If the issue persists, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress login in the designated Sensitive Data section.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

We really look forward to helping you.

It appears it is the theme that is causing this. I will report it to them. I am closing this.
