use event schema in woo products

    Hello,
I have a problem trying to use event schema for products in woocommerce. We are a little non profit event location and i use woocommerce to sell tickets with tickera and tickera-woocommerce-bridge. I don’t want to have a extra Event Page and than the customer has to move on to Woo product page to buy. Instead, the woo product page is the event page, and this is prepared like this by tickera.
The only missing point is structured data, to make google recognize my events as such.
I extra changed from Yoast to RankMath because Yoast does not offer schema type event, and now i can’t use the schema type, because you only offer type product with woocommerce.

I came found this thread https://support.rankmath.com/ticket/event-snippet-with-woo-products/ that deals with the same problem. that helps me one step further, but does not solve it completely. I replied to this thread, but as it is marked as solved, I’m afraid, it does not get any attention, so i start a new one.

The code basically works, but i have two problems as I’m not a php-programmer:
    – how do i use variables that are already defined by woocommerce or tickera?
    — how do i find out what variables exist and they are spelled exactly (like dates and performer)
    – how can i change values that are not anywhere stored in variables yet. As an example we have musicEvents, TheaterEvents, ArtEvents so i have to be able to change that on every event.

As a dirty fix it would be ok, to just have the same form for the details as if i mark a article as ‘type event’, but on the long therm it would be much more convenient to be able to use the variables that already live there, especially the number of tickets left.

    Thanks for your help…

    Ulrich
