URL Redirection Issue with Rank Math Free Plugin

    Rank Math free

I recently installed the Rank Math Free plugin on my website to optimize its SEO. However, I encountered an issue related to URL redirection that I need help resolving.

I’ve configured some 301 redirects within the Rank Math plugin to redirect old URLs to new ones. Despite setting up the redirects correctly within the plugin, I’m still experiencing problems. When testing the old URLs, they are not redirecting to the new URLs as intended. Instead, they show a 404 error page.

I’ve double-checked the configurations, ensured that the redirects are active, and cleared the cache, but the issue persists. My website runs on WordPress.

Could someone please assist me in troubleshooting this URL redirection issue with Rank Math Free? Are there any additional steps or settings I might be overlooking that could be causing this problem?

Thank you for your help! Here is the URL https://capcutproapk.org/ Please check and do let me know!

  • Hello,

We apologize for the inconvenience you’re facing with the URL redirection issue in Rank Math Free. We understand the frustration this may cause, and we’re here to help.

To troubleshoot the issue, we recommend following these steps:

    1. Check for Other Redirection Plugins Installed: First, check if you have any other redirect plugins installed that may have configured redirects conflicting with Rank Math. If you find any, delete them immediately and check your posts from a new browser to see if the problem is resolved.

    2. Check .htaccess (or) nginx.config File: Next, check your .htaccess (or nginx.conf) file to see if any redirects have been created there. You can check the .htaccess file in your WordPress Dashboard by navigating to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Edit .htaccess. If you see any additional redirection rules being set up, delete them and check if the problem is resolved.

    3. Theme or Plugin Conflict: Sometimes, a conflict between plugins or themes can cause unwanted 301 redirects. You might need to perform a quick conflict check on your website. Before running the test, ensure that you have taken a complete backup of the entire site so that if anything happens during the conflict check, you can still restore it at any time later.

If after following these steps, the issue persists, please open a ticket on our support forum, and our support team will assist you further.

We hope this helps resolve the issue. Thank you for reaching out to us, and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this matter for you.
