URGENT – Redirects stopped working last 2-3 days

    Hello there. The redirections seem to have a problem.

    A pin of mine on Pinterest is ranking and all of sudden when clicking on it takes me to the homepage instead of the actual post.
    That means the redirection I have made isnt working.

    This is the pin: https://pinterest.com/pin/729090627162107411/

    You can see the title of the pin says HOME because it was redirecting to Homepage for some reason. The actual title is HOW TO LOSE WEIGHT FOR SKINNY WOMEN WITH A FAST METABOLISM.

    And this has happened with some other pins too.

    I didn’t want to lose my rankings so I downloaded another the 301 Redirects plugin and created the same 10 redirections I had and now the pin I mentioned sents people to the actual post.

    Guys I don’t want to use a different plugin for redirections though. Why did the redirections on RankMath stopped working?

    Should I give you access to my site?

    I now use Redirections PLUGIN and the redirections work. But they don’t work on RankMath….

    Is there a bug with the plugin?

    Just keep in mind that I have disabled the RankMath redirections module and the one active is Redirections plugin. (Found in Tools -> Redirection)

    I did that because I have many people on my site and I didn’t want to direct them to the wrong page.

    Hello,

    I checked your issue and I found what was happening. You had a redirection from how-to-gain-weight-for-skinny-women-with-a-fast-metabolism to how-to-gain-weight-for-skinny-women but that URL (/how-to-gain-weight-for-skinny-women/) doesn’t exist so Rank Math applied the fallback you ave set for 404 errors: redirect to the homepage.

    I disabled that redirection and everything seems to be working fine now, could you check it?

    Thanks for your time but that’s not it. I changed the specific url (thats why it doesnt exist) but there are also 9 more that don’t work. And I know that these URLs exist. For some reason, the redirections just doesn’t work on RankMath.

    I just tested in another link that exists. So they just don’t work.

    Nevermind though I use the Redirections plugin now and it works so I ‘ll stick with that.
    I actually prefer it more on that matter.

    I just wonder. Does redirection on RankMath work for everyone else? If yes, then most probably there is a conflict in my site.

    Rank math redirection work fine from my installation. If you wish to use stand-alone redirection, please head over to Rank math dashboard and disable redirection module to avoid conflicts.
