Uploading redirections does not work properly

    Hello,

I tried uploading 1200 redirections to a website and it stopped at some point. I noticed it stopped at 400 entries.

Then when trying to upload again got the error “Missing one or more required columns”. As far as I understood the id needs to be present when matching redirections are on the website, this was really confusing.

Why would the uploading be capped to 400 in my case? Is this a bug?

    (Rank Math Pro)

    Thanks

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

You mentioned that you’re using Rank Math PRO but the account you have used to open this ticket is the Rank Math free version.

Can you please search and forward a receipt from FastSpring.com or the email address you used to purchase so we can locate your account and verify it?

Meanwhile, please share the CSV file so we can check it as well.

You can upload the file on https://wetransfer.com/ or any file-sharing service like Google Drive and add the generated link here.

The id column in the CSV file match the post ids on your WordPress site. If they are new/fresh redirects, then the values under that column should be empty.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

Last import was also a pain, the import stopped mid-way multiple times, so had to break it into 5 to upload everything, file also in sensitive data.

The import also does not seem to work as intended, the progress bar is stuck and one needs to refresh the page to check what was imported.

    Hello,

We’ve tried to import the CSV file you’ve shared and we can see it is working properly without any issues:

However, we can see the ID column is missing on the CSV file. We’ve updated the CSV file with the ID column and now you can try to import this and see if this works for you: https://i.rankmath.com/f/TTzLj2

If the issue still persists, please check if the Cron jobs on your site are working properly or not. Because the system that imports the data relies on scheduled actions to import the CSV data into the website. Please install the WP Crontrol plugin and navigate to WP Dashboard > Tools > Cron Events to make sure that the Cron Jobs is working fine on your site.

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
