Unresolved Japanese Word Count Issue

    Hello
    I opened a ticket over a week ago about Japanese word count not being recorded correctly.

    This has not been resolved yet, or at any rate I did not get any feedback, yet the ticket was closed…
    Is there anything you can tell me?

    Example of what is happening: my page has around 600 Japanese words, and yet rankmath is telling me I have 58 words.

    If this does not affect my SEO, its fine, but I want to confirm.

    Hi Rebecca,

    This does not affect your SEO or rankings.

    It is just the way we are counting the words. Google detects them much better than we can. This only affects the internal score you see in Rank Math which has nothing to do with your actual rankings.

    We are working on a fix though and it will be offered as an update down the line.
