Universal Analytics setting on a Property already Using GA4

    Hello,

    Today, I try to install Rank Math SEO for WP, I just see you didn’t work with site using GA4 to track data on google analytics.

    My Property was created before this installation, without Universal Analytics and directly using GA4, so on the “Connect with Google services” step from the rank math installation process, I didn’t show my site on the list.

    I just go here , on your article “how to fix” : https://rankmath.com/kb/using-ga4/

    So, on it, it seems to have the possibility to use the rank math analytics dashboard when we have GA4 , we just have to create a new property and enable Universal Analytics both with GA4. But my property was already created, and I can’t access to this parameters..

    Another question , if you have the solution for the first : if I use both GA4 with Universal Analytics does it will broke my website traffic insight ?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

    GA4 is still in beta, and we do not support that. We have plans of implementing that in the future once their GA4 API matures. As you said, you are using G4 currently so to work with the Rank Math. You need to downgrade from Google Analytics 4 to Universal Analytics.

    Please follow the guide carefully and you will able to switch to G3 or watch this video.
