    Hi,

I tend to “duplicate” an existing post as the basis of new posts in order to keep the structure similar.

I’m using the various aspects of Rank Math, but one aspect is confusing me:

Edit Snippet > This is the unique URL of this page, displayed below the post title in the search results.

The slug I find in here does not reflect the CURRENT post (even though the URL of the current post has been changed in the standard WordPress way by reflecting the post title).

    The question is:

    1. Should I be concerned?
    2. Do I need to go into each post & manually change this “Rank Math unique URL”?

    Thanks

    Tim

    Hi Tim,

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

You can click on the permalink and change it. The field is saving as a custom field and copying your post copies everything including the custom fields.

You would want to change it just as you would change the title on each post.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
