    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

This will depend with the number of 404 hits that each one is reporting. The errors that relate to theme files then you should go through the referrer page and ensure that you don’t have any links referencing deleted content.
The errors that relate to bots can safely be ignored at this time since I am sure the website is in noindex mode during development and thus all bots are getting blocked.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hi Umberto,

I wanted to add that we can only tell you about the 404s. We don’t know where they are coming from. You have to check that yourself.

You have to check where the users are landing from to know. Do that from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > 404 Monitor. Enable the advanced 404 monitor to see a new “referrer” column in the monitor.

Here’s how to fix the 404s with Rank Math.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
